WUCC –  Who We Are…

Wimbledon United Cricket Club is one of the oldest and friendliest cricket clubs in the area, founded in 1920. We have members of all backgrounds, ages and abilities. We play our matches against a number of clubs local to the south-west London area and also occasionally further afield, always on a friendly basis; we are not members of a league. We pride ourselves on our sporting attitude to the game and on not being overly competitive on the field, but once on it naturally we do our very best to win our matches and above all enjoy ourselves.

We play every Sunday during the season, with our home games being held at our well located and attractive ground in Cottenham Park, which is just a short walk from Raynes Park train station and local bus routes. We are always keen to recruit new players for the current season, so if you are interested in joining us please contact us for more information. Regardless of whether you last played cricket a year or a decade ago, we would very much like to hear from you. You do not need to be able to play every game in order to join. And if this isn’t enough, then we also serve the best teas on the circuit!
